“2015 has been another fabulous year for Kids West, largely due to the generosity of our community and our absolute passion and belief that we can make a difference.

I’ll give you an outline on just some of the things we’ve managed to achieve for the year but first I want you to meet Parthiv. Parthiv is 8 years old and has Cerebral Palsy – without this special walker, he is unable to do something that most of us take for granted. With the help of the Blacktown City Lions Club, Kids West was proud to present this walker, valued at $7000 to Parthiv and his family to allow him to have independence. What a wonderful Christmas gift to deliver.

Without YOU, none of these special moments are possible. We just want to show you how much of an impact collectively we can make.

Let me give you a quick overview of the year that was.

Kids West donated $66,674 to the local Community and over $70,000 in Christmas gifts! In addition, we physically spent over 1500 hours supporting sick and disadvantaged children as well as teaming up with other community groups requiring much needed support.

The funds we raise would not be possible without the support of so many giving individuals such as yourself, plus the following businesses to name a few:

A huge highlight to round out 2015 was delivering over 500 Christmas gifts to various hospital wards, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army and individuals throughout Western Sydney. A special mention to the team at Aptus Accounting Norwest who happily wrapped nearly 200 of these.

As 2015 draws to a close I wish to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I cannot emphasise enough how extremely thankful we are to have such a wonderful community of individuals and businesses who value Kids West and who appreciate the difference we can make in our community.

If you ever wish to contact me regarding donations or discuss how we can collaborate for the community please feel free to contact me on 0419 992 826.”
